Stand-up show 'Happy' by Liverpool comedian Paul Smith, billed as the biggest and boldest show of his career.
Paul Smith is bringing his new show, HAPPY, to Hot Water Comedy Club on Thursday 29 October and Thursday 12 November, both starting at 19:30. It's part of his 2026/2027 world tour, which takes him across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, with more dates to come in 2027.
If you've spent any time at Hot Water, you'll know Smith. He's a resident compere there and a firm favourite with the regulars, known for quick wit and an affable manner. He was crowned Liverpool's New Comedian of the Year and made the finals of the Leicester Comedian of the Year competition, so he's a local who's worked his way up through the circuit.
HAPPY is billed as the biggest and boldest show of his career, following sold-out runs and viral success across the globe. It takes his trademark crowd work, razor-sharp observations and laugh-out-loud true stories and pushes them to a new level — fast, fearless and relentlessly funny. The show runs about 135 minutes, so it's a proper full evening rather than a short set. The two Liverpool dates are at Blackstock Market, 15 Blackstock Street, L3 6ER, which is the home of Hot Water Comedy Club.
