Paint and Sip - Bob Ross Snowy Mountains

Paintvine is bringing a Bob Ross-themed paint and sip to Milo Lounge on Thursday 5 November, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The night is built around one of the most recognisable images in the Bob Ross canon: the snowy mountains, with their jagged peaks and happy little trees. If you've spent any time watching the old tapes, you know the drill — the mountains go up, the clouds float in, and the whole thing comes together one stroke at a time.

It's a professional artist leading the room, guiding everyone through the painting step-by-step. The focus is on enjoying the creative process rather than producing a perfect result, and they describe the sessions as judgement-free, so there's no pressure to be the next great master. You don't need any experience to join in; it's as much for complete beginners as it is for people who already paint. All the kit is provided — acrylic paints, brushes, aprons and a stretched canvas — and you take your finished artwork home with you.

Paintvine runs these across pubs and bars in the city, and the format is simple: you paint while you drink and socialise. The venue bar serves drinks and food rather than BYOB, so you can grab whatever you fancy from the bar throughout the evening. They also take photos during the night for their social pages, so keep that in mind if you're the type who'd rather stay behind the easel.

It's part of a wider operation — Paintvine bills itself as the UK's best Paint & Sip, Sculpt & Sip and creative experience provider, and they've welcomed more than 80,000 guests across more than 20 cities, including London, Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh. The session runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Milo Lounge, 90 Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8UU, and tickets are £32 for a public class and £39 for a private event.
