NW Promotions presents Chapter 2

NW Promotions are back at The Dome on Saturday 28 November with Chapter 2, their second card since the promotion's first chapter. It's a full day of fighting, with bouts spread across the afternoon and evening.

The card mixes three different styles in one room: 10oz gloved boxing, K1, and hybrid boxing. The boxing bouts are BoxRec-accredited, so they'll count towards the fighters' official records. Between the three disciplines, the action runs from the afternoon right through into the evening, so you can catch a few fights and head off early or settle in for the whole lot.

The Dome itself is worth a look if you haven't been. It's part of Grand Central Hall, a Grade II listed space that opened in 1905 as the Central Hall of the Liverpool Wesleyan Mission. It was built to an Art Nouveau design by Bradshaw and Gass of Bolton, with a capacity of 3,576. Over the years it's worn a few different hats: it served as the New Century Picture Hall cinema until at least 1944, and from 1933 to 1939 it was the home of the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra while the Philharmonic Hall was being rebuilt after a fire. Now it's hosting Chapter 2.

One thing to keep in mind: the event is for ages 18 and over. If you're heading down, make sure you've got your ID on you.
