Strictly 21+ Halloween house party by Don't F**k with Disco with a costume dress code and phone-free policy.
Don't F*ck with Disco are taking over Camp And Furnace on Friday 30 October for a Halloween special. The night is run by the UK house act of the same name, and while the title points to disco, the music goes well beyond it: they play house, funk, soul and everything in between, so it's more of a broad dance floor than a single-genre night.
There are a couple of things that set their parties apart from your usual club night. First, they run a strict phone-free policy: stickers go over both the front and back cameras when you enter, so you're not spending the night looking at a screen or filming the room. Second, there's a costume dress code. They're asking for duos, trios or icons, and they award a DFWD ticket to the best-dressed, so it's worth putting a bit of effort into the outfit if you're going with friends.
It's a strictly 21+ night, and the promoters are clear about the environment they want: zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism, violence and oppression. If you're heading down, it's worth keeping that in mind before you walk through the door.
