Matinee Headline Comedy Special

The Matinee Headline Comedy Special comes to Hot Water Comedy Club at Blackstock Market on Saturday 31 October, with the show starting at 1:00pm. It's a matinee, so it's a bit of a shift from the usual late-night comedy slot — you'll be in and out well before the evening kicks in, which is handy if you've got other things on that Saturday.

The format is pretty straightforward: a headline comedy special in the middle of the day. The club describes it as bringing some of the finest comedians from across the UK and beyond to the stage a little earlier in the day, offering world-class comedy in a matinee format. It's the same kind of billing you'd expect from a night show, just moved forward to the afternoon.

As for where to find it, the Liverpool room is the Hot Water Comedy Club at Blackstock Market, on Blackstock Street. If you've been to the market before, you know the spot. It's a proper comedy club setup, so you're getting a dedicated room rather than a stage tucked into the corner of a pub.

Tickets are £6.00, and the show starts at 1:00pm on Saturday 31 October at Hot Water Comedy Club at Blackstock Market, 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool, L3 6ER.
