Livvy Roberts Presents: The Big Fat QuizBox

Livvy Roberts brings her quiz show, The Big Fat QuizBox, to Boxpark Liverpool on Thursday 5 November, with the night starting at 19:00. It's a Scouse comedian fronting a quiz night, so the whole thing runs through her rather than just a list of questions read out from a sheet.

Roberts is known for her personality, quick wit and Scouse charm, and that's what she brings to the centre of the room. The quiz itself is built around a mix of questions, categories and challenges, so it's not just about who knows the most random facts — the challenges mean there's a bit more to it than just scribbling answers on a piece of paper. It's the kind of night where the atmosphere comes as much from the room as from the questions.

One thing that sets this apart from a standard pub quiz is what happens when the questions stop. There's a meet and greet after the quiz, so you get a chance to chat with Roberts properly once the competition's over. It's a good addition if you're going for the comedy as much as the quiz.

Practical details: it's at Boxpark Liverpool, Beaufort St, L8 5XJ, on Thursday 5 November, starting at 19:00. Tickets are £15, and the session is billed as 16+.
