Free Halloween party at Liverpool ONE with street performers, spooky characters, drumming and zombie dance workshops, face painting and a children's fancy dress competition.
Liverpool ONE is hosting its Halloween Party on Saturday 31 October, from 11am to 4pm, as part of the 'October of Fun' family programming running across the month. It's a free event, so you can just turn up with the kids and hang around for the afternoon.
BBC radio presenter Leanne Campbell is hosting, and the day is built around street performers and spooky characters. Witches and the Humber Monster will be out and about, and there are drumming and zombie dance workshops to get stuck into. Face painting is on the go, and there's a children's fancy dress competition, with entries open from 12pm to 3pm on the day.
It's one of several things happening around the city this month. The River of Light is back, a trail of light installations running from 23 October to 1 November, with one of the standout pieces sitting right at Liverpool ONE. The wider October line-up includes curling at Stones Throw and Chavasse Park, e-karts and VR gaming at Gravity MAX, the Upside Down House, and the Paddington Bear statue outside Waterstones.

If you're planning to enter the fancy dress competition, keep in mind the window is 12pm to 3pm, so you'll want to be there by then. The party itself runs from 11am to 4pm at Liverpool ONE, South John Street, and it's free.
