Hands-on makeup workshop by The Brushes and Blending Makeup Artistry Club on achieving seamless blends in eyeshadow and base application.
The Brushes and Blending Makeup Artistry Club are running a workshop on seamless blending at 19 Dalegarth Ave in Liverpool on Sunday 1 November, starting at 19:00. The session is called Mastering the Art of Seamless Blending, and it's open to anyone with an interest in makeup, regardless of your skill level, so you don't need to be a pro to get involved.
The evening works through demonstrations and hands-on practice, with the focus on how to get a seamless blend in two specific areas: eyeshadow and base application. The demonstrations show you the technique first, and then you get to try it yourself, so you're not just watching someone else do it. It's designed to be practical rather than just a talk, with the hands-on part being where you actually work through the blending yourself.
Beyond the blending, there's a social side to it. The organisers encourage you to bring along your own brushes and products, and they've built in time to swap tips, troubleshoot those blending frustrations we've all had, and meet other people who share a passion for artistry. If you've ever struggled to get your eyeshadow to fade properly or your base to sit right, that's exactly the kind of thing you can bring up and work through during the session.
