Liverpool Low-Pressure Speed Dating Interactive

Fastlove are running a speed dating night at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre on Friday 6 November, starting at 19:30. It's one of their regular Liverpool dates, and if you've never done speed dating before, the format is pretty straightforward: you rotate through a series of short dates in one evening, each conversation lasting at least three minutes. Depending on the numbers, you could end up with up to 25 dates in a single night, so it's a fair few first impressions to get through before the night is over.

After the dates, you pick the people you'd like to see again, and the organisers send out the matches within 24 hours. It's a low-pressure way to meet a lot of new people in one go, and you don't have to commit to anything more than a few minutes of chatting with each person. Fastlove describes it as a good night out for singles whether you're looking for a partner, new friends, or just a bit of fun, so you can go in with whatever intention suits you.

Fastlove has been running dating events for over 20 years and describes itself as the UK's leader in speed dating for single professionals. That's a fair bit of experience behind the scenes, which is helpful when you're the one managing the rotations and the matching. The night takes place at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre, 3 Thomas Steers Way, L1 8LW, which is right in the heart of the city, so it's easy to get to and just as easy to head home from when it wraps up.

Tickets start from £15 and go up to £25, depending on the option you choose. It kicks off at 19:30 on Friday 6 November at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre, 3 Thomas Steers Way, L1 8LW.
