Monthly stand-up comedy night with up-and-coming north-west comedians and an experienced headliner at Heebie Jeebies on Seel Street.
Liverpool Laughs is back at Heebie Jeebies on Wednesday 4 November, part of its monthly run of stand-up comedy nights on Seel Street. It's a mid-week spot in the city centre, and the organisers describe it as 'the coolest setting for our monthly comedy show'.
The format is a straightforward one: the northwest's best up-and-coming comedians, people already performing paid spots, take the stage first, with an experienced headliner closing the night. It's a good way to catch a few different voices in one go, from the newer names working their way up to a seasoned pro to finish.
Heebie Jeebies is at 80-82 Seel Street, L1 4BH, right in the heart of the city. The room has a bit of a reputation for its atmosphere, too — Tom the bus driver, a local, once compared it to the Cavern Club where the Beatles played, which gives you a sense of the kind of space it is. It's a city-centre club setting, so it's easy to get to and easy to get home from, whether you're coming from work or just heading in for the evening.
