Christmas Wonderland on the Pier Head waterfront with a covered ice rink, 36 attractions, eight children's rides and a Santa's Grotto.
Liverpool Christmas Wonderland returns to Pier Head on 20 November 2026, running through to 3 January 2027. It's forty-five days of Christmas on the waterfront, right in front of the Three Graces and set against the Mersey, with the whole site built around the city's only covered ice rink.
There are 36 attractions gathered around that rink. The Ice Jet is a fast, loud bobsleigh ride, and the Elevate 85 Star Flyer swings you 85 metres over the river. There's an ice maze and a Light Trail of about 20,000 bulbs, which is best walked after sunset. For the smaller ones, there are eight children's rides and a Santa Sleigh Ride.
When you're not on the rides, the Winter Club is a licensed bar sitting alongside the Alpine Lodge and The Yeti. There are 28 traders serving everything from churros to Christmas dinner in a bun, so you can grab something to eat and a drink between turns.
