Super League Basketball fixture between the new Liverpool Basketball and the established Leicester Riders at the M&S Bank Arena.
Liverpool Basketball take on the Leicester Riders at the M&S Bank Arena on Sunday 7 February, a Super League Basketball clash that puts the city's newest team up against one of the most established names in the British game.
For those who've been following the new side, this is part of their first season in the competition. They're the city's new basketball team, and this is one of the home games that season ticket holders have been tracking since the very first tip-off. It's still early days for the club, so seeing how they hold their own against a side with this kind of pedigree is a good way to gauge where they're at.
Leicester Riders are a different story altogether. They've been part of the British basketball landscape for decades and remain one of the sport's most established clubs, and they're coming off a big one: they won the 2025 SLB Play-Off Final. Their visit brings another experienced Super League Basketball side to the city, and for Liverpool, it's a chance to measure up against a team that knows exactly how to win at this level.
