Halloween Chocolate Tasting Experience

Hotel Chocolat is bringing back its guided seasonal tasting on Saturday 24 October, and this time it's taking a Halloween turn. It's the first time the tasting has returned to the store in a year, and the whole session is built around the season.

The tasting itself takes you through a curated selection of classic and all-new autumn recipes, so you'll get a mix of the familiar and the new. After that, you get to pick your own treat from the store's Halloween boxed selections — things like Grim Treaters, Oozy Eyes and Ghastly Ghouls. Along the way, the team helps you find your 'Chocolate Love Match' among the house profiles, like Patisserie Dreamer and Serious Dark Fix, so you'll leave knowing which of their styles you actually lean towards.

There are a couple of practical things to keep in mind before you book. It's run as a standing tasting, so you'll be on your feet for the duration. It's not suitable for anyone with nut allergies, and it's not recommended for a vegan diet, though vegan chocolates can be offered to accompanying guests if you arrange it in advance. If you're coming with a group and someone needs that, it's worth getting in touch early.

The session is at Hotel Chocolat on 2-4 Peter's Lane, Liverpool L1 3DE, starting at 13:00 and running for 30 minutes. Tickets are £12 per person.
