GOTG BYO Pumpkin painting

Girls On The Go are hosting a pumpkin painting session at Pocket Cafe Bar on Thursday 22 October, from 6pm to 8pm. It's a 'bring your own pumpkin' night, so you'll need to sort your own pumpkin before you arrive; the organisers provide everything else, brushes and paints included. The session is exclusively for anyone who identifies as a woman.

There's a social side to it, too: people are paired into duos or trios so you can help each other out and make new friends while you paint. If you're turning up on your own, that's exactly what it's for.

Girls On The Go (GOTG) is a girl-only social and wellness community with a mission to make the UK a less lonely place for women. They run a wide variety of weekly, girl-only sessions — creative painting workshops, book clubs, running clubs, yoga and pilates classes, the UK's largest girl-only bingo, socials and balls — in accessible, affordable spaces where women can make friends even if they turn up alone. The community says it's helped thousands of girls make friends since 2023 and now reaches over 300,000 women.

Tickets start from £4.00 and are non-refundable unless the organisers cancel. You'll find the session at Pocket Cafe Bar, 98 Paradise Street, Liverpool, L1 4AA, running from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 22 October.
