Festive silent disco with a DJ, storytelling and crafts in the magical festive tent at Calderstones Park.
Elf Disco comes to The Reader Mansion House in Calderstones Park on Tuesday 22nd December, just a couple of days before Christmas. It's a festive silent disco, so you'll be dancing with headphones on rather than to a loud speaker filling the room. A DJ will be on the decks, and the whole thing takes place inside a magical festive tent set up for the occasion.
It's not just about the dancing, though. Alongside the music, there's storytelling and crafts, so if you're not in the mood to spend the whole time on your feet, you can settle in for a story or get stuck into something creative. It's a mixed bag of a session, with the DJ, the storytelling, and the crafts all happening under one roof, so you can move between them as you like.
Because it's a silent disco, you've got a bit of control over your own experience — you can dance your heart out or keep it low-key, and you're not competing with a wall of sound if you want to chat. The festive tent is the hub for everything, and with the date falling so close to the big day, it's a good shout for a family outing or a gathering with friends before the Christmas rush properly kicks in.
