Double Headline Show - Hot Water Comedy Club

Hot Water Comedy Club brings its Double Headline Show to Blackstock Market on Saturday 12 June, with Danny McLoughlin taking the lead alongside a special guest. The club bills the Double Headline as its flagship show, pairing headline comedians from across the UK and beyond with regular TV faces.

Mcloughlin has been around the circuit for a while. He was a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year in 2008 and performed as part of the Big Value Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009. He'll be joined by a special guest, though that name is still under wraps for now.

Hot Water Comedy is a Liverpool-based promoter that runs two award-winning, purpose-built comedy venues in the city. This show is held at Blackstock Market, Liverpool's biggest food market, which also houses a roof terrace, a whisky bar and a cocktail bar.

It's a Saturday afternoon slot: the show starts at 16:00, with doors open from 14:30 and the whole thing wrapping up by 17:20. Tickets are free, though you can pay £5 for guaranteed entry. The club is at Blackstock Market, 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool L3 6ER.
