Full-room tribute night to Disney's songbook performed live by Blundell Street's resident act, presented by FunnyBoyz Liverpool.
Disney Live! is at Blundell Street Restaurant on Saturday 17 October, a full-room tribute to Disney's songbook performed live by the venue's resident act, Beth McCann. The night is presented by FunnyBoyz Liverpool, and it's a themed tribute night, so the whole evening is built around the Disney catalogue rather than a mixed set.
Blundell Street is known as the city's home for drag shows, tribute acts, bingo nights and themed brunches, and this fits right into that mix. It's a full-room tribute, meaning the Disney theme runs through the whole night, and it's McCann taking the lead on the songs. If you've been to the venue before, you'll know the sort of thing they do — it's more of a night out than a formal concert, with the music as the main draw.
As the resident act, Beth McCann is the one on the mic, and the set is drawn from the Disney songbook, so you'll be hearing the songs from the films rather than a random selection of pop. It's a tribute night, so the focus is on the songs themselves, performed live in the room. If you're into the Disney soundtrack, that's exactly what's on the bill.
