DD40 Tour: Mikel Erentxun (Duncan Dhu)

Mikel Erentxun brings his DD40 tour to The Cavern Club on Monday 9 November, with the set starting at 7:00 pm. Erentxun is the voice of Duncan Dhu, one of Spain's most influential pop-rock bands, and the tour marks 40 years of the group. He'll be performing with his full live band, taking the music from San Sebastián to Mathew Street.

The set is a journey through the band's greatest hits and defining moments from across four decades, with classics like 'Cien Gaviotas', 'En Algún Lugar' and 'Esos Ojos Negros' in the mix. It's a retrospective of the songs that made the band a household name in Spain, played live with a full band behind him rather than as a solo act.

The gig is in the Cavern Club Live Lounge, the club's back stage area tucked behind the iconic front room. It's a standing venue with some unreserved seating, so seats aren't guaranteed, and most events here are for ages 18 and over. The Live Lounge is the more intimate side of the club, and it's part of the wider Cavern Club at 10 Mathew Street — the nightclub that was the birthplace of the Beatles and is still open daily with live music, The Cavern Store, The Cavern Restaurant and The Cavern Pub.

Tickets are £26.50, and the show kicks off at 7:00 pm on Monday 9 November at the Live Lounge.
