Stand-up comedy night with up-and-coming acts and established pros from across the country at Bennos in Seaforth.
Belly Laughs @ Bennos returns to The Railway in Seaforth on Sunday 25 October, with the night kicking off at 18:30. It's a stand-up comedy night that brings together a mix of the best up-and-coming acts and established pros from across the country, all performing in the same room on the same evening.
That mix is the whole point of the night. You'll get the newer names — the ones still working their way up the circuit and testing out fresh material — sharing the bill with seasoned performers who've been doing this long enough to know exactly how to hold a room. It's a curated line-up, so the acts are chosen to fit together rather than just being thrown in, and the focus is on sharp wit and professional stand-up.
It's aimed at comedy fans and stand-up enthusiasts who want a full session of laughs in one go, rather than a single act. Because it's a mix of acts from across the country, you're likely to hear a range of voices and styles on one bill, with the established pros providing the steady hand and the newer acts bringing the energy. It's the kind of night that works best if you're already a fan of stand-up and enjoy seeing different comics trade the stage over a few hours.
