Liverpool-themed comedy play at the nautical-themed Royal Court Theatre on Roe Street.
Bat Out Of Rhyl is coming to the Royal Court Theatre on Roe Street, with the run starting on Friday 2 April and continuing through to Saturday 24 April 2027. That's over three weeks of performances, so there are plenty of dates to choose from if you can't make the opening weekend.
The Royal Court is a proper Scouse institution. It opened in 1881 on the site of Cooke's Royal Amphitheatre of Arts, and it's a nautical-themed Art Deco building with 1,186 seats. It's got a bit of a reputation for debuts, too — Richard Burton and Judi Dench both made their professional stage debuts here. The repertoire usually leans towards comedy dramas, plays, musicals and pantomimes with a Liverpool theme, and the basement houses a 150-seat Studio space for smaller productions and stand-up comedy.
Bat Out Of Rhyl fits right into that mix. It's a theatre show, and with the run stretching from 2 April to 24 April, you've got a good window to catch it whenever suits you best. The Royal Court is on Roe Street, so it's easy enough to get to from the city centre.

If you're planning to go, keep in mind it's a three-week run, not a one-off, so you've got a fair bit of leeway with your dates. The show opens on Friday 2 April and runs until Saturday 24 April 2027 at the Royal Court Theatre on Roe Street.
