Aaron McCann - Momentum

Aaron McCann brings his show Momentum to Hot Water Comedy Club at Blackstock Market on Friday 6 November. It's a solo stand-up set, and he's the only name on the bill for the night.

McCann has spent more than a decade as a regular on the Northern Irish comedy circuit before moving to New York City, and that background shows in the scale he's worked at. He's played sold-out tours at Belfast's Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall, and has opened for Shane Gillis, Daniel Sloss, Shapel Lacey and Grace O'Malley. In 2023, he teamed up with fellow comedian Colin Geddis to start the Bomb Squad Podcast, which has built a die-hard following and taken them to sell out the SSE Arena several times. Momentum is his own show, and it's being staged by Hot Water Comedy, widely regarded as the UK's best comedy promoter.

It's a Friday night in the city, so the timing works for a late one: doors open at 20:00, the show starts at 21:30, and it runs through until 23:30. A standard ticket is £20.00, and the venue is Hot Water Comedy Club, inside Blackstock Market at 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool L3 6ER.
