Slow-flow yoga and breathwork session led by Lexie McPherson followed by a Sunday roast lunch at The Banksia.
The Banksia Bar and Restaurant is bringing back its Yoga & Roast format on Sunday 8 November, and if you've been hearing about it without getting in on the previous ones, this is your chance. The organisers say the last six editions all sold out, and they're pitching this one as even bigger than those.
It's a two-part afternoon that runs from 12:30 to 14:30. You start with a welcome wellness drink, then settle onto a provided mat for a 45-minute slow-flow yoga and breathwork session led by Lexie McPherson. It's open to all levels, so you don't need to be a regular at the studio to join in. Once the session wraps, you head into the restaurant for a full Sunday roast lunch.
Having the mat provided is a handy detail — you don't need to lug your own across town. The slow-flow style means it's more about steady movement and breath than anything too intense, and the breathwork is woven right in. It's the kind of thing that works whether you're coming in as a regular yoga practitioner or just fancy a bit of stretching before a proper meal.

After the yoga, the roast takes over. It's a full Sunday roast lunch, so you're getting the main event and the trimmings. The whole thing runs for about two hours, from the first drink to the last bite.
It's at The Banksia Bar and Restaurant, 2 Lower Briggate, Leeds LS1 4AE, on Sunday 8 November, 12:30–14:30. Tickets are £30 plus fees per person.
