Musical theatre concert celebrating the music of Les Misérables, fronted by three West End stars including John Owen-Jones and backed by a live band.
Voices Of Valjean comes to Leeds Minster on Friday 23 October, a concert celebrating musical theatre fronted by three West End stars who have each played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and backed by a full live band. The lead is John Owen-Jones, a record-breaking West End and Broadway leading man best known for his award-winning Valjean and for more than 2,000 performances as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. He remains the youngest actor in West End history to have played Valjean and is one of the few to have done so extensively in both London's West End and on Broadway.
The repertoire draws on Les Misérables alongside numbers from some of the greatest musicals, including Miss Saigon, Chess, The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story and Jesus Christ Superstar. It's presented by Kinda Dusty Ltd across two sittings on the night, with a fully licensed bar available. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
