Tom Rowley, known for his work with Arctic Monkeys and Milburn, performs live with Bloodworm at The Attic.
Tom Rowley plays Brudenell Social Club on Tuesday 3 November, with Bloodworm on the bill. It's his first time stepping out on his own, and the night is presented by the club itself.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, the CV should. Rowley has been a cornerstone of Sheffield's bands for two decades, and for a long time he's been one of those figures you've likely heard of without ever having seen him front and centre. He co-wrote portions of Arctic Monkeys' Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino and The Car, and has been a longtime touring member, appearing on two of their world tours. Before that, he was a founding member and writer of Milburn, the indie band he started when he was 14. He's also performed and written with Reverend & The Makers, and over the years he's become the go-to guitarist, pianist and co-writer for a generation of talent from the city.

This is the first time he's billed a night under his own name, so it's a bit of a shift from the roles he's usually played. He'll be performing with Bloodworm, and the whole thing is being hosted at The Attic, the smaller room inside Brudenell Social Club at 3 Sheaf Street. Doors open at 19:30, and tickets are £17.50 in advance.
