First live dates since 2007 by The Early Years and Sennen, reunited as labelmates on Sonic Cathedral, at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen.
The Early Years and Sennen play Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen on Monday 16 November, their first live date together since 2007. They're touring the UK this November, now reunited as labelmates on the indie imprint Sonic Cathedral. Both grew out of the UK shoegaze-adjacent scene of the early 2000s, though they sat at different ends of it: The Early Years leaned towards krautrock and drone, while Sennen combined post-rock with harmonies. Both have been silent for the best part of a decade.
The Early Years are the ones with the fresh record. Their third album, Modern Moonlight, came out at the end of May to great acclaim, and this tour is their first time taking it on the road. Sennen are in a slightly different spot: they're gearing up to share their first new material in more than ten years, so this is one of the first times you'll hear where they've landed after all that time away. Between the two, you'll get the new album and the first glimpse of whatever Sennen have been working on.
