Robert White: 'THAT' Gay Autistic Keyboard Tanktop Comedy Guy!

Robert White plays City Varieties Music Hall on Thursday 22 October, starting at 7:30pm. He's a stand-up comedian and keyboardist who first came to public attention through his series on Britain's Got Talent and has since built up millions of viewers online. He's touring with a brand new show, and this is the Leeds date.

What he does on stage is a bit of a hybrid: he mixes songs, stories, stand-up, gags, props, improvisation and audience interaction, and the keyboard is right at the centre of it. It's not a traditional stand-up set, and it's not a gig in the usual sense, so it's probably best to go in without too much of a fixed idea of what to expect. The show runs about an hour and 50 minutes, including an interval, and it's recommended for ages 18 and over.

Critics have described him as a 'very funny, fantastic oddball' (Time Out), while The Telegraph called the show 'souped-up risqué keyboard-based songs, waspish asides and neurotically charged camperie from a hyperactive man-child'. Simon Cowell summed him up as 'very unique, very quirky, very funny, very naughty, Robert, which we like!'

Tickets are £20, plus a £2.50 booking fee. If you'd rather be in a box, those are £23 per person and need to be booked by phone on 0113 243 0808. The venue is City Varieties Music Hall on Swan Street, Leeds LS1 6LW, and the show starts at 7:30pm on Thursday 22 October.
