Rhys James: Chop Logic

Rhys James brings Chop Logic to City Varieties Music Hall on Wednesday 5 May 2027, from 20:00 to 22:00. It's a stop on a 40-date UK tour that started at the Edinburgh Fringe, and it's described as a fast, forensic show of big ideas and gag-dense overthinking. The blurb sums it up as: 'Rhys has made a discovery that could fix everything. It's been staring him in the face the whole time, in a mirror held behind his head. If he can ignore his own problems for long enough, he might just be able to solve yours.'

If the name doesn't ring a bell, you've likely come across his work without realising it. He's a regular on TV and radio, with appearances on Mock The Week, QI, and Live At The Apollo, and he's the voice behind Rhysearch on BBC Radio 4. He also put together the viral U&Dave lecture I Stalk Strangers Online, which gives a fair hint of the sort of forensic, slightly obsessive line of thought Chop Logic builds on. Richard Osman has called him 'one of the funniest men in the world', and The Times described his stand-up as 'scintillating'.

It's a full-length set, running two hours from 20:00 to 22:00 at City Varieties Music Hall on Swan Street, LS1 6LW. Tickets are £24.00.
