Two-day Reiki Level 1 training with Eva Lake, covering the history of Reiki, the principles, the chakras and how to self-heal and give Reiki to others.
Eva Lake is running a Reiki Level 1 course at Studio 6 in Scott Hall Mills on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 January, from 9:30am to 3:30pm each day. It's a two-day introduction to the Japanese healing tradition of Reiki, and for many it's the first step towards becoming a practitioner.
Over the two days, you'll go through the history and origins of the practice, the Reiki principles, the chakras, and the 21-day clearing process. The practical side covers how to self-heal and how to give Reiki to others. The teaching is mainly floor-based, with blankets and cushions provided, and numbers are limited to three people. Each day opens with silent contemplation, sacred tea, and intention setting.
Eva Lake is a Reiki Master Teacher, Holistic Healing Practitioner, and Soul Doula, and a member of the UK Reiki Federation. The training follows the Federation's Level 1 guidelines and traces its lineage back to Usui. You'll leave with a Reiki 1 manual, a certificate, a personal 1-2-1 attunement ceremony, and online video content to keep you going after the course ends.
