Monthly market of local Yorkshire bakers, makers and creators with food, art and jewellery stalls across the grounds of Lotherton Hall.
Real Markets are back at Lotherton Hall on Saturday 7 November, from 11am to 4pm. It's their usual monthly gathering of Yorkshire bakers, makers and creators, and this time they're taking over the Events Village in the grounds of the hall. The organisers describe it as being run by the county's 'friendliest' traders, and the stalls cover a fair bit of ground: food, art, jewellery, candles, cakes and more.
If you've never been, the market is just one part of the day. Lotherton Hall is a period property steeped in history, and the whole estate is open to explore around it. You can wander through the historic hall itself, the gardens and the woodland, and there's a playground and a petting zoo on site, so it works as a family outing as much as a shopping trip. There's an onsite cafe too, if you fancy a break from the stalls.
It's a family-friendly and accessible venue, with accessible parking, toilets and baby changing, and guide dogs are welcome. Admission is free, so you can just turn up and spend as much or as little time as you like. If you miss this one, the next date is Saturday 5 December, when it becomes a Christmas Market with longer hours, 10am to 7pm.
