Stand-up show by Pierre Novellie, observational nerd comedy, at the City Varieties Music Hall.
Pierre Novellie is back at City Varieties Music Hall on Tuesday 26 January 2027, with his new show Okay, One More Then Bedtime. It's his first return to the hall since last year's You Sit There, I'll Stand Here, so if you caught that one, this is the next chapter.
Novellie works in observational nerd comedy, and he's built a reputation as one of the top stand-ups currently on the circuit. Critics describe him as a master writer, storyteller and raconteur, and they've pointed to his work over the last two decades as some of the most consistently entertaining in the business. If you've never seen him, that's a good place to start: he's less about the quick-fire punchline and more about the long, winding story that pays off in the end.
City Varieties is a fully accessible venue, which is worth keeping in mind if you're bringing a group. It's audio described, British sign language captioned, and offers relaxed performances. There's an accessible toilet, baby changing facilities, a hearing aid loop, and it's wheelchair accessible, with guide dogs welcome. If you've got specific access needs, you can be sure they're covered here.

The show runs from 19:30 to 21:30, so it's a proper two-hour set rather than a short slot. Tickets are £26.50, and the venue is on Swan Street, LS1 6LW.
