Live gig by Cork band Pebbledash, blending shoegaze, traditional Irish and alt rock, at the Brudenell Social Club.
Pebbledash are playing Hyde Park Book Club on Thursday 19 November. It's a headline show for the Cork band, who've built a name as a live act as much as a recording one.
If you haven't come across them yet, their sound pulls from a few different places: shoegaze, traditional Irish, alt rock and midwest alternative. It's a broad mix, and 2025 was the year it really started to land. Their track 'Carraig Aonair' ended up in Steven Knight's Netflix series House Of Guinness, which brought in over 180,000 Spotify streams. That sat alongside two releases in the same year: the EP Four Portraits Of The Same Ugly House in January and the full album To Cast The Sea In Concrete in November. The set will draw from both.
They've spent a fair bit of time on the road since then. Their Of Seaweed and Sandstone tour started at Cyprus Avenue in Cork and worked its way up to The Attic here in Leeds, with festival slots at Left Of The Dial in Rotterdam and They're Gonna Be Big in Paris along the way. They've picked up support from BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X, NME, RTĆ, Clash, Dork, Hot Press and Nialler9, and they've been a favourite of So Young Magazine. This is one of those bands that has a fair bit of momentum behind it, and this show is a chance to hear that live.

It's a headline night at Hyde Park Book Club, so it'll be Pebbledash on their own. If you're into shoegaze and alt rock with a bit of a traditional Irish lean, this is one to keep on your radar.
