Paul Heaton is back at the First Direct Arena on Saturday 31 October, with guest singer Rianne Downey and special guests Lightning Seeds. It's a double-bill that brings together two of the biggest names from Heaton's career on one stage.
Heaton's a British singer-songwriter who's been writing for more than four decades. He was the driving force behind The Housemartins and The Beautiful South before moving into a solo career, and his songs have always had a particular kind of wit, warmth and honest look at everyday life. The setlist is meant to be packed with fan favourites from across those years, so it should pull from a fair few different eras of his work.
Lightning Seeds join him as special guests, and Rianne Downey will be on stage as a guest singer. The night has a standing floor, and if you're bringing anyone under 14, they'll need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over; they aren't allowed in the standing area. VIP packages are available if you're after something more than a standard ticket.
