A glow-in-the-dark activity for the October half-term at Leeds City Museum.
Leeds City Museum is running Glow In The Dark Week over the October half-term, from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November. It's a glow-in-the-dark activity, so it's one of those things you can take the kids to when the school holidays are in full swing and you're looking for something to keep them occupied for a few hours.
Because it runs across the whole half-term break, you've got plenty of room to fit it in. It's on every day from the 24th through to the 1st, so you can pick a morning, an afternoon, or a weekend that works for you rather than having to clear a specific date. The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00, which is a decent window if you're planning a day out in the city centre.
It's a drop-in activity, so there's no need to book a slot in advance—you just turn up when it suits you. That makes it easy to slot in around other half-term plans, whether you're heading into town for a bit of shopping or just fancy a trip to the museum. And since it runs for nine days straight, you're not under pressure to get it done on a single afternoon.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Leeds and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

One of the best bits is the cost: it's Give What You Can, so you pay what you're able to rather than a fixed ticket price. That keeps it open to everyone, regardless of what's in the budget for the holidays. It runs from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, 10:00 to 17:00 daily, at Leeds City Museum.
