Queer pop-punk band National Citizens play 'The Disconnect Experience', drawing on their latest EP, at Old Chapel Studios.
National Citizens bring The Disconnect Experience to Old Chapel Studios on Friday 20 November, a collaboration with the Beeston & Holbeck rehearsal space. The night is open to all ages, with doors opening at 5.30pm and the music running through until 11pm.
The show draws on the band's latest release, The Disconnect EP, and they're billing it as a new and innovative way to experience live music. National Citizens describe themselves as a queer pop-punk band, and The Disconnect Experience is the live counterpart to that EP, so the set will lean heavily on the new material. If you've been following them, this is the night that puts those songs on stage.
Old Chapel Studios is a legacy rehearsal space in the Beeston & Holbeck area, and this is a collaboration between the band and the studio rather than a standard booking. It's an all-ages night, so it works as much for a younger crowd as for anyone who's been with them since the start. Doors open at 5.30pm, and the music goes until 11pm, which gives you plenty of time to settle in before the set gets going.
