Intimate acoustic show by Morganway with new songs and reimagined classics before they record their next album.
Morganway play The Attic at Brudenell Social Club on Saturday 5 December, one of a few intimate acoustic shows they're doing this December. It's a stripped-back run that comes after a year spent writing their next album, and it's the last time you'll see them live for a while: in January they head into the studio to record at Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire.
The set is built around that new material, so you'll hear brand-new songs before they're even recorded. Alongside those, they're bringing back reimagined versions of older songs and a few surprises, and the acoustic format means you'll hear them in a way they don't usually play. The whole run was inspired by a recent trip to New Orleans for Folk Alliance, and that's where the acoustic approach comes from.
