Makeup Masterclass with MAC

MAC are running a makeup masterclass at John Lewis Leeds on Saturday 24 October, with a second session following on 21 November. Both start at 15:00, and you'll find them in the Events Space on the fourth floor of the store, which sits in Victoria Gate on Harewood Street.

It's run by MAC experts, and they've pitched it for everyone from makeup newbies to seasoned professionals, so you don't need to be an expert to get anything out of it. The session covers tips and tricks for getting the perfect complexion and a clean lip finish, and you'll get a first look at the latest makeup trends. If you're just starting out, it's a good way to pick up the basics; if you've been at it for years, there's still something to take home.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you book. Places are exclusive to My John Lewis members, though you can book additional tickets for guests. On the day, you'll need your ticket — printed or on your phone — and your My John Lewis card or app to get in. They also suggest arriving at least ten minutes early, so don't leave it until the last second.

Tickets are £15, and that's fully redeemable on any MAC product you buy on the day, which effectively means the session is free if you were planning on picking something up anyway. The first one is on Saturday 24 October at 15:00, and the second is on 21 November at 15:00.
