Country star Kane Brown brings his unscripted stand-up show 'Crowd Work King', built around audience participation, to the City Varieties.
Kane Brown brings his new show Crowd Work King to City Varieties Music Hall on Friday 14 May 2027, starting at 8:00pm. It's a brand-new run following his sold-out Don't Listen to Me UK tour, and the format is a bit different from your usual stand-up night.
Crowd Work King is built entirely around audience participation. Brown describes it as about an hour and forty-five minutes of purely unscripted, unplanned comedy, with everything made up on the spot. Because the material comes from the people in the room, no two shows are the same. It's the kind of thing that depends on who turns up and what they're willing to talk about, so the night you get will be different from the one someone else sees on another date. Guz Khan called him 'the most naturally talented stand-up with a crowd I've ever seen'.
