Free outdoor French music concert by La Compagnie du Tire Laine from Lille at the permaculture community garden Seacroft Forest Garden.
La Compagnie du Tire Laine are playing at Seacroft Forest Garden on Friday 23 October, bringing French music to the east of the city. They're coming over from Lille in northern France for the evening, and the concert is called Into the Wild.
It's part of the city's wider autumn programme of outdoor performances, so it's one of several events taking place across Leeds over the next few weeks. The venue itself is a community garden in the heart of Seacroft, run on permaculture principles — everything planted there is either edible or useful, and the whole project is set up to benefit the local community, wildlife and the environment. It's a working garden, so you'll be hearing the music in a space that's actually grown and tended by people in the neighbourhood.
