Beginner-friendly one-to-one Cricut workshop with bespoke tuition from a Hobbycraft colleague at a store in Leeds.
Hobbycraft is running one-to-one Cricut workshops at their Leeds stores, and there's a session on Wednesday 21 October. It's a beginner-friendly hour, so if you've got a machine sitting in a box or you've been staring at the software without knowing where to start, this is exactly the kind of thing that gets you moving.
The whole point is that it's one-to-one. You're paired with a Hobbycraft colleague who gives you bespoke tuition tailored to where you're actually at, rather than a group class that moves at one speed for everyone. They cover all the Cricut machine types — Maker, Joy, Joy Xtra and Explore — so it doesn't matter which one you've got. They'll walk you through Design Space, the software you use to create your projects, and show you how to work with different materials, which is where most people get stuck.
It's open to adults and anyone aged 14 and over, so it works as a solo thing or as a gift for someone younger. One customer who did it back in January gave it five stars, describing their tutor as "knowledgeable, friendly and patient" and the session as "great value."
