Noughties pop icons Hear'Say and Liberty X reunite for a UK and Ireland arena tour marking the 25th anniversary of the ITV show Popstars.
Hear'Say and Liberty X are playing the First Direct Bank Arena on Sunday 2 May 2027, part of a joint 25th anniversary arena tour across the UK and Ireland. It's billed as the only place you'll see both bands perform together on the same stage, so if you're going to catch them, this is the one.
The two groups first crossed paths on the ITV talent show Popstars, which changed the face of British pop twenty-five years ago. Hear'Say won the show in 2001 and became household names almost overnight with the number one 'Pure and Simple' and 'The Way To Your Love'. Their debut album went triple-Platinum before they split just a year later, and they haven't performed together since that 2002 break-up. Liberty X were formed from the show's five runner-up finalists and went on to build their own chart-topping career, with 'Just A Little' hitting number one and becoming one of the UK's ten biggest selling hits of 2002, and Thinking It Over going double-Platinum.

Both bands later reunited for the 2013 ITV series The Big Reunion, and Liberty X has remained a regular on the festival and Pride circuits since. This tour is expected to play to a combined audience of over 150,000 across its dates. The Leeds show starts at 19:00, with tickets from £50 plus fees.
