Stand-up show by Hannah East turning the madness of parenting into comedy, based on her viral online sketches.
Hannah East brings her new show Express Yourself to The Glee Club Leeds on Thursday 5 November, a night that turns the madness of parenting into comedy. The set draws on sketches that have amassed millions of views online, and East describes the material as brutally honest, wildly relatable and laugh-out-loud funny. It's billed as the comedy show every parent needs — raw, real and utterly unmissable.
The show runs for around 100 minutes, so it's a full evening rather than a short spot. It's recommended for ages 14 and over, with 14- to 16-year-olds needing an adult with them. If you're under 25, you might be asked for government-issued photo ID at the door, so it's worth having yours on you just in case.
The Glee Club Leeds is right in the city centre on Great George Street, a vibrant hub for comedy and live music known for hosting top-tier stand-up acts and eclectic musical performances. It's easy to get to, and the central location makes it a straightforward mid-week night out.
