Frankie Monroe performs his award-winning live shows 'Live' and 'Dead' back to back in one evening, with the performance being recorded live.
Frankie Monroe is back at Brudenell Social Club on Sunday 18 October, and this one's a bit of a double. He's performing his first two sell-out, award-winning shows, LIVE and DEAD, back to back in one evening. The whole thing is being recorded live, so it's a full night of comedy rather than a single set.
For those who haven't come across him yet, Frankie Monroe is the stage name of Joe Kent Walters. He plays the owner of a Working Men's Club in Rotherham that doubles as a portal to hell, and he bills himself as 'Yorkshire's Biggest Bastard'. He picked up the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer in 2024 and is now described as the nation's favourite demonic entertainer. The story follows Frankie as he escapes, saves his club from demonic ruin, and picks up plenty of big, daft laughs along the way. Putting LIVE and DEAD together gives you the full arc of those first two shows in one sitting.

It's his biggest show to date, and the recording adds another layer to it — you're part of the crowd that'll be captured. Brudenell is hosting two performances on the day, so you've got a choice of when to catch it: an early show at 17:00 or a late one at 20:00. Tickets are £19.50 in advance, and the club is at 33 Queens Road, Leeds, LS6 1NY.
