Live show by Leeds band Fathers Moustache, whose music spans rock, pop and independent styles, at The Lending Room.
Fathers Moustache are playing The Lending Room on Saturday 14 November, with the set starting at 7:30pm. It's a Leeds band playing a Leeds venue, so it's a local night in every sense of the word.
If you're not familiar with them, they're a group whose music pulls from rock, pop and independent styles. That's a broad enough description to cover a fair bit of ground, and it's exactly where they sit — they don't stick to one lane, and they're not trying to. It's the kind of sound that fits as easily into a rock set as it does a pop one, and that independence comes through in how they put it together.
They're a Leeds band through and through, and this is a home show. The Lending Room is at 229 Woodhouse Lane, LS2 3AP, so if you're already in the city, it's a straightforward trip. The music spans rock, pop and independent styles, and that's the core of what they do — three distinct threads running through the same set.
