Ed Byrne: No Dramas

Ed Byrne brings his new show, No Dramas, to City Varieties Music Hall on Tuesday 4 May 2027, starting at 8:00pm. He describes himself as the 'conquistador of petty gripes', a stand-up who airs his grievances with a world hell-bent on irritating us. The set is built around his constantly thwarted attempts to live a life free of hassle, whinging about the little things that seem to gang up and ruin the day.

It's framed as a lighter, more death- and trauma-free follow-up to his previous tour, Tragedy Plus Time, which he described as taxing to perform: picking at the scab of the worst moment of your life five nights a week for 18 months. No Dramas moves away from that territory, trading the heavy stuff for the everyday annoyances that most of us recognise. Critics have called him 'hilarious... verging on greatness' (Rolling Stone UK), 'fantastically funny' (Evening Standard) and 'funny above all else' (Chortle).

The show runs about an hour and 50 minutes including the interval, is recommended for ages 16 and over, and is presented by Mick Perrin Worldwide Limited. Tickets are £32 plus a £2.50 booking fee, with boxes available at £35pp, which you book by calling the Box Office on 0113 243 0808.
