Forensic pathologist Dr. Richard Shepherd returns to the stage with a personal account of his career in 'Time of Death - More Unnatural Causes'.
Dr Richard Shepherd is at City Varieties Music Hall on Sunday 18 October, with Time of Death presented by Norwell Lapley Productions. He's the UK's leading forensic pathologist, with more than 23,000 autopsies to his name and a career that's taken him to some of the world's most high-profile cases — from the Hungerford Massacre to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This is his return to the stage after successful tours in 2021 and 2022.
He describes the show not as a dry forensic pathology lecture, but as a deeply personal account of how a career spent in the darkest corners of humanity has shaped his view on life. It's less about the clinical details of the job and more about what it's like to spend a lifetime working with death, and how that changes the way you look at the living. It's recommended for ages 16 and over, with parental guidance advised.
