Live music night headlined by Dobbö with support from Altalune at The Vinyl Whistle in Headingley.
Dobbö plays The Vinyl Whistle on Monday 9 November, with support from Altalune. The night is part of Dobbö's November 2026 tour, and it's presented by Not a thing. CIC.
Dobbö is a jazz, fusion, funk and nu-jazz musician and producer who plays bass, drums and guitar, so he's a multi-instrumentalist who handles a fair bit of the heavy lifting himself. The set sits right in that cross between jazz and funk, with the nu-jazz side bringing in a more modern, produced feel. It's the kind of night that works as well if you're there for the groove as if you're there for the musicianship.
Opening the evening is Altalune, an alternative singer-songwriter based near Leeds who performs with her band. Her set comes first, so you'll get two different takes on the night: her alternative songwriting to start, and Dobbö's jazz-funk to follow.
