Live gig by Del Amitri with Former Champ on the bill at the O2 Academy Leeds.
Del Amitri play the O2 Academy Leeds on Monday 9 November, with Former Champ on the bill. It's a mid-week one, so you'll be heading into the city on a Monday night rather than a weekend.
Del Amitri formed in Glasgow in 1980 and built their following on guitar-driven, melodic pop rock. They're best known for the single 'Nothing Ever Happens', which reached number 11 in the UK, and for 1995's 'Roll to Me', a top 10 hit in Canada and the United States. Over the years they've released seven studio albums in total, so there's a fair bit of ground to cover if you're digging into the older records. Former Champ opens the night, so you'll get two acts for the price of one.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Leeds and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The O2 Academy is on Cookridge Street in the city centre, and there's one practical thing to keep in mind before you head off: the venue's bag policy doesn't allow large bags, including rucksacks, so leave the big one at home and just bring what you need. Tickets start from £45.60 via Ticketmaster, and the night gets underway at 19:00.
