Free live gig at the Brudenell Social Club with Dan English and Accessory.
Dan English plays Brudenell Social Club on Monday 2 November, with Accessory on the bill. It's a free entry night, starting at 7:00 pm.
English is a composer and guitarist who grew up in a quiet Iowa town, picked up the guitar at ten, and later moved to New York City. He released his first album, Fruit Boy, in 2018, followed by the In Grace EP in 2020, and his second full-length record, Sky Record, in June 2025. He also moonlights as a guitarist for the NYC rock outfit Porches and collaborates with his cousin, Melody English.
Brudenell Social Club, founded in 1913 at 33 Queen's Road, is a community not-for-profit venue with an open music policy and gigs spread across two rooms: the original Main Room and the Community Room, added in 2017. Beyond concerts it works as a social club, with a lounge and a games room home to a snooker table, five pool tables, darts, table football and TVs showing sport, alongside Pieminister pies and local cask and craft ales. The stage has drawn acts such as Franz Ferdinand, the Kaiser Chiefs and Tom Jones.
