Conor McLain brings his 'Better Plans' Tour to The Wardrobe, playing his debut album 'Something Starting' and new singles.
Conor Mclain plays The Wardrobe on Wednesday 11 November, one of the Leeds dates on his international Better Plans tour. It's his first time back on stage since a sold-out run across the UK and Europe in 2025, and the set draws from both his debut album, Something Starting, and his most recent singles.
London-born and drawing on indie, Irish folk and indie pop, Mclain describes his music as a voice for those struggling on the inside, with the aim of encouraging people to push through their difficulties and live authentically. That folk influence sits alongside a polished production, and the songs lean on raw, emotive lyrics. He's picked up several BBC Radio features and has shared stages with major industry names, building a reputation for shows that are raw, intimate and powerful.
On the night, he'll be playing Something Starting alongside his newest singles, so you'll hear the debut album that put him on the map and the newer material he's been working on since. The Better Plans tour is an international run, and this is one of the stops it's making in the city.
