Two-hour in-person coffee workshop run by Bowery's head barista Ged, covering how coffee is made and how to use a home coffee machine.
Bowery is running another coffee school workshop on Thursday 3 December, from 6 pm to 8 pm. It's a two-hour in-person session at their place on 54 Otley Road in Headingley, and it's run by their head barista, Ged.
The whole thing is built around the basics: Ged takes you through how coffee is actually made and how to get the most out of your own machine at home. If you've got a setup on your kitchen counter that you're not quite sure how to master, this is where you sort it out. It's a practical, hands-on evening rather than a lecture, so you'll be doing as much as you're listening.
One thing to keep in mind is the size of the group. They keep numbers intentionally low, with a maximum of four people per session. It means you're not just one face in a crowd; you'll get Ged's attention throughout the two hours, and there's plenty of room to ask questions and get things right before you head home.
